Frankie Jo Arnold Massengill

Frankie Jo Arnold Massengill age 84 formerly of Charleston, Tn. passed away Wednesday evening November 2, 2016 in a health care facility in Antioch, Tn. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Mt. Eagle Baptist Church in Charleston, Tn., before moving to Middle Tennessee. She was retired from Midland Ross (Steel City) in Athens, TN, and enjoyed decorating and gardening.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Ida Mae Arnold, brother, Curtis Arnold, two sisters, Mary Ruth McCleary and Delores Mack, and husband of 58 years William ‘Willie’ Massengill.
Loving memories will be cherished by her family, devoted son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Laura-Jean Massengill of Nashville, Tn., grandchildren, Tabitha Denise Buffington and Garry(Shaquanta) Massengill both of Murfreesboro, Tn. Four great-grandchildren, William Nicholas Buffington, Ciara Nicole Buffington, Alancea Jade Massengill, and Morgan Alana Massengill. One sister, Jessie Boyd of Charleston, Tn., Many, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Homegoing services will be held Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the chapel of M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home- Cleveland, Tn., with Rev. Aubrey Ector delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Charleston, Tn. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 11:00 until 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
