Eula Dean Swafford Kennedy

Eula Dean Swafford Kennedy age 69 of Cleveland died Wednesday August 24, 2016 in an Athens, Tn health care facility. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church in Cleveland, Tn., and attended College Hill School. She spent well over 36 years working in Philadelphia, Pa., at the Einstein Hospital in the housekeeping division. To many that knew her she was known by her nick name “U,U” or slim. She was very witty and enjoyed putting a smile on people’s faces. Eula had a way about herself that people naturally held her in high regard and with great respect.
She is preceded in death by her parents Leon and Rosa Lee Swafford, sisters, Linda, Charlotte Odessa and Vicky Lynn Swafford, and one brother Leon Swafford.
Survivors include her daughter, Jacqueline Evonne ‘Pebbles” Kennedy of Cleveland, Tn., and one grandson, Koran Shemar Kennedy of Cleveland, Tn. Four sisters, Ruby Shirlene Bunion, Phyllis Lanira Swafford, Greta Ann Swafford all of Cleveland, TN., and Hazel Abigail Bunion of Philadelphia, Pa. One aunt Lillian Gaines, of Cleveland, Tn., many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends in the chapel of M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home- Cleveland, Tn. on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m., and final remembrance services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. by Rev. Marvin Howard and the Trinity United Methodist Church family
