Harold Haskel Aday, Jr, age 85 of Cleveland, TN, went to be with the Lord Wednesday morning June 22, 2016, in a local health care facility. Mr. Aday was a graduate of Theodore Roosevelt High School, Fresno, CA, Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL and Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, IN. Mr. Aday was a hard working entrepreneur, his diversity in business gave him a very broad background in many business arenas from being a building contractor in Chicago, IL and Denver, CO, to home restorations in Kansas City, MO, to a furniture store owner in Asheville, NC, to restoring fine furniture and antiques in Asheville, to owning a jewelry and home furnishings store in Cleveland, TN, to being the proprietor of an ice cream and Specialty shop in Cleveland. Mr. Aday was a man of God, having pastored many churches in Colorado, Missouri, Minnesota, and Black Mountain, NC, and was especially fond of his Men’s Bible Study group up until his health begin to fail. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold, Sr. and Winnie Tate Aday, a daughter, Stephanie Dawn Adams, and a grandson, Jonathan Adams. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of almost 66 years, Sylvia Heinig Aday of Cleveland, TN. Three daughters: Linda Diane (Ken) Foster of Bloomington, MN; Jackie Denise (Joe) Roesch of Independence, MO; Sharon Darlene (Mark) Riley of Black Mountain, NC; and son-in-law Bill Adams of Morristown, TN. Nine grandchildren, Holly Foster Renodin, Joe Foster, Tiffanie Knauer Eickoff, Krystle Knauer Seigler, Alisha Riley Young, Benjamin Riley, Dr. Aimee Riley, Andrea Riley Lessig, and Mahala Adams Campbell. Twenty-two great-grandchildren. One sister, Viola Aday of Cleveland, TN, and a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Harold and Lois Heinig of Northville, MI, as well as many other relatives and dear friends. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 26, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM in the Chapel of North Cleveland Towers at 1200 Magnolia Ave NE, Cleveland, TN; followed by a Memorial service at 2:30 PM at Emmanuel Fellowship at 155 Inman St, Cleveland, TN, with dear friend Father Mitchell Baker of Emmanuel Fellowship offering words of comfort.
