Milinda O. Hassler Williams

Milinda O. Hassler Williams, age 78 of Cleveland, died Monday June 20, 2016 in a local hospital. A faithful member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tn., she served on the CWIFE committee, and prayer intercessory group. A graduate of Barber School Atlanta, Ga., from 1961-1964, she worked in the hair care business for over 48 years, and operating Milinda’s Style Shop many years. She was well known for her care of the community, and feeding children and anyone who needed help. She was responsible for many other area business professionals getting their start. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cora and Jessie Hassler. Survivors include two sisters, Genevieve Sharp of Cleveland, Tn., and Debra Hassler of Chattanooga, Tn. One brother, Don A Hassler of Cleveland, Tn. Six nieces, five nephews, a host of many very special and devoted friends and church family. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 26, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tn., with pastor Rev. Edward S. Robinson Sr. delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church from 3:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery.
