Octavious Blair

Octavious Lamont “Bud” Blair age 42 of Elijay, GA passed Wednesday, March 30, 2016.
He grew up in Etowah, TN and was the son of Nada Elrod and Marshall Travis Blair, Jr. He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, David and Alma Lee Moss of Etowah and Marshall and Ella Mae Blair of Cleveland, and aunt Alma Genell Williams of Cleveland.
He was a member of Harwell Chapel Church of Etowah, TN. In 1992, he graduated from McMinn Central High School.

Survivors include his devoted mother Nada Elrod of Etowah, TN and father Marshall Travis Blair, Jr. of Chattanooga, TN. His children Elexus Benton (Jose Rodriguez) and Emacia Blair (Destiny) of Niota, TN. One grandson Brealind Taylor of Niota, TN. Devoted brother Joshua (Amber) Blair of Cleveland, TN. A very special friend Kris Bishop of Elijay, GA. Stepbrother Cedric Scruggs and stepsister Olivia Scruggs of Sweetwater, TN. Devoted aunts Trudy Blair, Brenda Moss both of Cleveland, TN, Zennetta (Arnold, Jr.) Boyd of Jamaica Queens, NY, Zennetta Blair of Cleveland, TN and devoted uncles Terry Moss of Cleveland, TN and Billy (Elizabeth) Moss of Etowah, TN. Special devoted cousin Marcy Moss of Cleveland, TN and cousins Nigel and Clayton Blair of Cleveland, TN. Special friends Robert Scruggs, Trevor Browder, Ryan Alston, Travis Sanders, Carlos Gillespie, Jimmy Valintine, Edwin Cates, and Travis Carpenter and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Harwell Chapel Church in Etowah, Tn., with Rev. Angela Billingsley delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends one before the service at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Etowah, TN.
