April Necole’Nikki’ McDermott 30, of Athens, TN went home to be with the Lord on Thursday January 28. 2016. She is the daughter of Kenneth and Charlesetta McDermott. She is preceded in death by grandparents Roy (Dorthy) McDermott and George (Willie Frances) Bailey. Survivors include 3 children: Jayden, Makye and Anniyah McDermott. 3 Brothers: Kenneth, Tracy, and Melvin McDermott. 4 sisters: Melissa, Amanda, Odessa McDermott and Ciare Porter. Special friends: Meak Fair, Michael Young, Alicia Billingsley, Polly Teague, LaToya Knox and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Freedman Chapel Church in Athens, TN. with Rev. Leuty McDermott officiating. The family will receive friends thirty minutes before the service at the church. Interment will follow at Hammonds Cemetery in Athens, Tn.
