Drusella Goode

Drusella Marie Massengill Goode age 62 of Cleveland, Tn. went home to be with her the Lord on Friday December 18, 2015. She professed her faith and love in Christ at an early age, and attended St. Peters Baptist Church in Ooltewah, TN., and Shiloh Baptist Church in Cleveland, TN. She enjoyed shopping and loved having a pocketbook at all times. She loved family gathering and adored her children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Goode of Charleston, Tn., her parents Lebron Massingill Sr. and Marie Thompson Massingill and her sisters, Rosa Barrett, Emma Lenior, and Charlotte Glenn, brothers, Robert Lee Swafford, Andrew John Massengill, and Charles Massengill.

Loving memories of her will be cherished by her family of, three children, Tynise Waters, Kinyatie Waters, and Jordon Goode. Sisters, Martha Crawford of Georgetown, Tn., Bettie ( Fredrick) Pitner, Gwendolyn(Robert) Pitner all of Cleveland, Tn., Brothers, Lebron(Sandra) Massengill Jr. of Ooltwah, TN. Arthur( Eula) Massengill, Thomas( Nancy) Massengill of Georgetown, TN. Grandchildren, Savion Cobb, Maybree Goode, Aubree Goode, Oliva Bryant. Sisters-in-law, Mary Massengill, Joann Goode, Lucille Massengill of Cleveland, TN. Brothers-in-law, Jimmy ( Rachel) Goode, Walter ( Sue) Goode all of Charleston, TN. Two aunts Betty Massingill and Eloise Massengill both of Harrison, Tn and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Cleveland, Tn. with pastor Rev. Edward S. Robinson Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at St. Elmo Church Cemetery in Georgetown, TN.
