Connie Mincy Ashenfelter age 61 of Decatur, TN died Monday December 14, 2015 in a Chattanooga, Tn. hospital. She was of the Baptist faith and was a loving grandmother.
Survivors include three daughters, Christi ( Randy) Stokes of Decatur, TN., Kelly Ashenfelter of Decatur, TN., and Tracy Ashenfelter of Decatur, TN. Mother Helen Jean Smith of Alexandria, Va., five sisters, Darlene(Jack) Wooden of Dayton, TN., Cindy (Killer) Brown of Decatur, TN., Sherry(Buddy) Jenkins of Alexandra, Va., Gayla(Saundra) Hill of Alexandria, Va., and Marleta(Belushi) Costner of Madisonville, TN. One brother, Bobby(Kristal) Hill of Decatur, TN.,fiancé Joesph Lewis of Decatur, TN. and former spouse, Bill Ashenfelter of Athens, TN. Four grandchildren, Shelby Stokes, Zach Farrington, Kyle Farrington and Eli Ashenfelter. A host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
A private memorial services will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church, Decatur, TN., with Bro. Jamie Davis and Bro. Cullen Connor officiating.
