Timothy Barrett

Timothy Otis Barrett age 74 of Cleveland, Tn. died Monday December 14, 2015 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a member of St. James Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Cleveland, TN. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and making people smile. He is preceded in death by his son Timothy E. Barrett and parents Romane and Willie Mae Barrett, sister Martha Ann Parker, step-daughter Denise Cantero. Survivors include his wife Mallory Jo Barrett of Cleveland, TN., three daughters Josephine (Walter) Brown of Athens, TN., Kimberly Hammons of Atlanta, Ga., Elizabeth Barrett ( Edward) of Cleveland, TN. One son, Kenneth (Bridget) Hammons of Athens, TN. One sister, Margaret Tate of Cleveland, Two brothers, Charles Brown, and Eugene Brown both of Cleveland, TN. Two brothers-in-law, ThomasWestfield of Cleveland, TN., and TheodoreWestfield of Chattanooga, TN. Thirteen grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, a special nephew Charles ‘Barry’ Parker of Cleveland, TN. Many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Bishop G.R. Hill delivering the eulogy. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Cemetery in Cleveland, TN.
