Matthew Moore

Matthew Alexander ‘ Rudder’ Moore age 37 died Sunday morning August 2, 2015 at UT Medical Center in Knoxville. He was a native of McMinn County, where he attended McMinn County High School, and played football there. He was a loving and devoted father.

He is preceded in death by his mother Jackie Ann Moore and father Charles Kenneth Rogers, sister Keshia McBee, grandparent Arlin Moore and Euvella Moore, uncles Mike Moore and Agnew Moore and aunt Valerie Moore.

Survivors include his seven children, Devante Moore, Yasmeen Brown, Madison Freeman, Ashley Hampton, Keonte Moore, Deshonte Moore and Davaney Moore.

Brother, Michael Roberts, two sisters, Diane Roberts and Latanya Brown,uncles, David Moore, Bobby Moore, and Adrian Moore, aunt Alfreda Moore, one nephew, Curtis Parks Jr. Special cousin, Jennifer Roberts, special friends, Vivian Brown, and Brandon Smith, mother of his children, Stephanie Brown, Hatasha Freeman, Carrie Hampton, and Makeshia Morgan.

Funeral services will be held Monday August 10, 2015 at 2:00 in the chapel of M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Saunders officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Hickory Flat Cemetery in Decatur, Tn.
