LaWanda ‘Leelee’ Renee Keith Hughley Davis, aged 57 passed away, July 28, 2015 after a brief illness.
LaWanda was born September 23, 1957, in Boise, Idaho, the daughter of the late George Willis Keith, Sr. and the late Gloria Antoinette Keith.
She is also preceded in death by her grandparents, James Tuggle and Elnora Kelly; aunt and uncle Joyce and Joseph Sanders; and brother, Michael Keith.
LaWanda’s family was her passion and delight, but her grandchildren were the loves of her life.
LaWanda is survived by her loyal sisters, Carolyn (Darryl Brown) Yates, and Jolynn Sanders; concerned brothers, George Keith, Jr. and James Sanders; devoted sons, Jerome Hughley, Dennis Davis and Darrell Kelly, Jr.; dear daughters, Nakieh Hughley and DeSha Johnson; 6 wonderful Grandchildren, LaWanda, JeNarica and Jerome Hughley, David and Robert Davenport and Azari Smiley; 2 great grandchildren, LaWuan Hughley and Kayden Jones; loving Uncle, Darrell (Debbie) Kelly; faithful nieces, Rashawnda Porter and D’aria Kelly; generous nephews, Darryl Brown, George Keith, III, Dakari Kelly and Joseph Sanders; and her proud, praying grandmother, Effie Tuggle; and a number of cousins, other family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at St. Paul AME Church, 2514 Williams St. Chattanooga, TN 37408, at 5p.m. A Celebration of Life service will follow with Rev. Kenneth Love officiating. Services of loving memory entrusted to M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home-Cleveland, Tn.
