Timothy Alan Phillips, 47, of Athens, passed away April 23, 2015 at Erlanger Medical Center. He is the son of the late Joyce F. Phillips.
He was a 1986 graduate of McMinn County High School, and was employed with Carlex in Vonore, TN.
He is survived by his wife Lori Phillips (Athens); four daughters, Gabrielle Phillips (Athens), Timyrah Phillips (Cleveland), Katie Womack (Riceville), and NyDaya Phillips (Athens); one son Nijah Phillips (Athens); one step daughter Destiny Arnwine (Athens); two grandsons, Aydenn Huerta and Liam Arnwine (Athens); father, Levi Phillips of Athens, four brothers and one sister-in-law, Gary Phillips (San Diego, CA), Rodney and Amy Phillips (Athens), Randy Phillips (Cleveland), and Brian Phillips (Chattanooga); Grandmother, Katie McClinic (Rome, GA); three nephews, Brandon, Trel, and Tyler Phillips; four nieces, Lyric, Kyla, Elizabeth, and Baleigh Phillips; several aunts and uncles many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Voice of Deliverance Church of God in Christ with the Rev. Larry W. Saunders officiating, with interment at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Athens, Tn.
The family will be receiving friends Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at M.D. Dotson and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Service- Athens, Tn.
