Joseph F. ‘Joe Boy’ Sanders age 77 of Ooltewah, Tn. died Wednesday April 8, 2015, he was preceded in death by his wife Joyce T. Sanders.
Survivors include his son, James (Ako) Sanders of Austin, Tx., daughter, Jolynn Sanders of New York, NY. Three sisters, Elnora Watson, Carolyn Shelton, and Cardia Gosha all of Cleveland, Ohio. One brother, Marvin Sanders of Chattanooga, Tn. Four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two special friends Homer Maston and Gloria Sanders(former wife) both of Chattanooga, Tn., and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at the Collegedale Hispanic American Church 4475 Industrial Dr. Collegedale, Tn., with pastor Joel Barrios officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Gardens in Chattanooga, Tn. Visitation by friends will be on Saturday, April 11, 2015 beginning at 12:00 noon at M.D. Dotson & Sons Funeral Home 165 Lang Street Cleveland, Tn.
