Robert Ware

Robert Louis Ware age 61 went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 24, 2014.He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Calhoun Tn., where he was in the men’s group. He served his country in the United States Army for 15 years as a staff Sargent. He was employed for over 11 years at First Baptist Church in their maintenance department. He was a graduate of Cleveland High School where he was inducted into the sports hall of fame with the fastest time ever recorded for a running back. This time has not been broken.

He is preceded in death by his parents James Scott Ware Sr., and Ernestine Ware. Three brothers, James ‘Beau’ Ware, Ernest Lee Ware, and Rev. Jerry Ware. Three sisters, Anna Jean Wells, Mary Louise Lowe, and Sharon Ware.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Janice Marie Phillips Ware of Calhoun, Tn., Six children, Jocelyn King, Tonia Ware, Robert Louis Ware Jr., Adrian Allen King, and Robert James Scott Ware all of Cleveland, Tn., and Catherine Ware of Oak Ridge, Tn.

Two sisters, Nellie Ware, and Patricia (Leonard) Woods. Sisters-in-law, Brenda Ware, Linda Greathouse, Brenda Greathouse, Helen Armstrong, all of Cleveland, Tn., and Jeanine (Lyndale) Davis of Chattanooga, Tn. 12 grandchildren and special grandson Deacon Allen King. Special godchildren, Greta Looney, Teirysian Greathouse, T’shai Greathouse, Benjamin Woods, and Darin ‘Sam’ Goode. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
