Rosia Lee Arnold Upton age 82 lovingly known as “Granny” to many ,of Red Oak Texas formerly of Charleston, Tn walked into eternal glory with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, December 7, 2014.
She was retired from Allied Signal formerly known as Bendix. She was known in the community as the Pie Lady and Demo lady at Wal-mart as well as various other stores always offering a smile and helping hand. She was a faithful member of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church. Serving on the kitchen committee and missions board ready to feed all those in need spiritually and otherwise.
She was preceded in death by her best-friend and ex-husband Ulyess Victor (Rudy) Upton and her parents Rubin and Elsie (McCleary) Arnold, as well as two brothers Jessie James Arnold and Jack (Willie) Arnold.
She is survived by her children: (son) Victor Reed Upton and wife, Yvonne, and (daughter) Ruby (Sissie) Upton, both of Red Oak, TX; grandchildren: Audrey Michele Upton of Mansfield, TX and Victoria Upton of Red Oak, TX; one brother: Calvin Arnold of Charleston, TN; one sister: Ruby Perkins of Charleston, TN; one sister-in-law: Francis (Westfield) Arnold, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and many special friends.
