Florence Moore

Florene Katherine Moore age 88 of Athens, and a former resident of Cleveland, Tn. died Friday, September 19, 2014 in a local hospital. She was retired from the State of Tennessee Health Care System, and also worked at Bradley Memorial Hospital in Cleveland, Tn. She was a member of Overcoming Faith Christian Center in Athens, Tn. where she served on the Mother’s board. She is preceded in death by her parents Harlan and Cordelia McCowan and two brothers,

Survivors include three brothers, Kenneth (Edna) McCowan of Athens, Tn., Lewis (Evelyn) McCowan of Sweetwater, Tn., and James (Pamela) McCowan of Etowah, Tn. Two sisters, Zella Smith of Niota, Tn., and Loretta Ferguson of Athens, Tn. Step-daughter, Andrea Moore of Cleveland, Tn. Three sisters-in-law, Ethel McCowan of Sweetwater, TN., Gladys McCowan of Niota, Tn., and Willie Jo Johnson of Rockwood, Tn. Many nieces, nephews, a loving church family, other relatives and many dear friends.
