James Edward ‘Jimmy’ Jarrett age 81 of Cleveland, Tn. died Tuesday September 2, 2014 in a Chattanooga Hospice Hospital. He was the son of the late Willie May and Romain Barrett of Cleveland, Tn.

Jimmy was born in Cleveland, Tn., and was a member of East Cleveland Seventh Day Adventist Church. His charming personality, his generosity and his laughter was a joy to be around. He was always excited to have visitors and he enjoyed life. Jimmy called everyone “man” even if you were a woman. He had his ways, but he was a good brother, uncle and friend.

He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia Jarrett, his brothers, Earl Jarrett, Nathaniel Jarrett and Romain Barrett Jr.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his memory a son, Noble Jarrett of Harrisburg, Penn., and a daughter Terry Willis of Dalton, Ga. One brother and sister-in-law Timothy and Mallory Barrett. Two sisters, Margaret Tate and Martha Parker all of Cleveland, Tn. A special friend, Edna Pitman of Chattanooga, Tn., several nieces, and nephews.
